Title III and Title V are five year HSI grants that provide colleges and universities with high numbers of Latina/o/x and Chicana/o/x students and limited resources with funding intended to build their capacity to expand opportunities and increase success for Latina/o/x and Chicana/o/x students.

PCC’s first Title V HSI grant was awarded in 2000.

- Develop a multi-faceted approach to career exploration that introduces early and reinforces often, offers robust internship opportunities contextualized for each career community, and provides career content that is embedded into curriculum

- In October 2019, PCC was awarded the HSI Title V grant: “Abriendo卡米诺: Opening Pathways to Institutionalize Equity.”
- In October 2020, PCC was awarded the HSI Title V grant: “Putting Career First and Expanding the Network of Care in PCC’s Pathway to Completion for Hispanic Students.”
